Fiji Fashion Week: Trendsetter Show Highlights

June 1, 2015

The 2015 Fiji Fashion Week Trendsetter show didn’t disappoint though I will admit that there were a few collections that I didn’t care much for. For the Trendsetter show I was expecting trendsetting in relation to design and technique. Together. If it weren’t for designers like Mat Lee, Onticha, Zuber by Ilai Jikoiono and Jadeine Whiteside the show would have been an absolute disappointment for me. And these designers made up the second half of the show – it ended up being quite a wait to see some real trendsetting collections on this runway. You can find photos and my commentary over at A Life Un-Styled on Facebook. And if you’d like to read full reviews on all the collections, have a look at the Fiji Fashion Week Tumblr. Reviews written by me have my name at the bottom.

I’ve somehow not been getting updates on bloglovin’ for your blog. Downside is I was missing all your posts; upside is now I had a bunch to get to read! It was so fun to get to read of your experiences with the Fiji Fashion week. To me, it was interesting to read how many different people of different ages and circumstances were at the shows. Can’t wait to go see your facebook and what you thought of the shows now. 🙂
