Earthwise Nourish: The Answer To Affordable Natural Products

One of the most common responses I get from my in-real-life friends who read the blog and who haven’t yet made the switch to natural or plant based products is that making the switch is costly. This was Patrick’s comment to me when I lugged home cleaning products that cost a small fortune. The other often sarcastic remark I get is “well of course you’ll use it, it was sent to you”. I do receive products, a lot more than actually make the blog or my social media but the only ones you end up seeing are those that both Patrick and I are happy to use and buy ourselves.

A few weeks ago I was sent the Nourish by Earthwise range. I could also feel the eyes rolling on social media as blogger after blogger posted images of it. I’ve waited a while to really try and use the products. And while my family has really enjoyed the scents (the Cucumber and Green Tea fragrance is our favourite), appreciate that the range doesn’t contain nasties (paraben and phosphate free and also free of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate which irritates those with sensitive skin – like Rafa and I!) the packaging in 100% recyclable, the products break down rapidly due to the lack of nasties which is ultimately kinder to the planet and Earthwise products are never tested on animals.

While in the past I would have gone on about the above points in detail I’m finding that most people just want to know what it’s going to cost them financially. With so many people struggling to find affordable housing, proper heating and healthy meals, switching to natural products can seem rather indulgent. The Earthwise Nourish range includes natural body washes in three different fragrances that retail at $6.99, their natural hand wash available in two fragrances retails at $4.99 and the natural soaps in three fragrances retailing at $1.99 each or a three pack for $4.99. It is the first natural range of products that I have come across that is so affordably priced.

I’m honestly relieved to be able to share a product that is gentle on your skin, gentle on the earth and gentle on your pocket. I’ve come to appreciate and respect that for many what items cost is the bottom line and most important factor. Don’t get me wrong, I consider the cost of things too but often it’s the second or third factor. Patrick, on the other hand, is like many of my blog readers and friends for whom cost is still extremely important when it comes to purchasing items.

I’m excited to continue using the Earthwise Nourish products, it’s one range that Patrick and I both agreed on readily. Finally a range of products that met my “is it safe?”, “is it natural?” criteria and Patrick’s “is it affordable?” criteria. You can find out more about the range at the Earthwise website.
